DAC After Hours presents Retro Rewind: 90s/00s Open Mic and Party

Step into the soundtrack of your youth for a night of iconic 90s and noughties hits, live performances, and retro party vibes.

Doors open at 6pm, giving you time to arrive, grab a drink from the bar, check out the food pop-ups, and settle into the atmosphere before the night begins. (Food and drinks available to purchase throughout the evening.)

At 7pm, the open mic starts, where anyone from the community can sign up to perform their favourite 90s or noughties anthem — from pop classics and R&B bangers to indie favourites and guilty pleasures. After purchasing tickets, a sign-up form will be sent for those who want to perform. Whether it’s your first time on stage or a long-awaited moment, this is your chance to perform in front of a supportive, buzzing crowd.

From 9pm, the party begins, as we turn up the nostalgia and move into a full retro celebration of iconic 90s and 00s sounds. Expect big energy, feel-good throwbacks, and a dancefloor full of memories.

If you’re not performing, come along to watch live performances, enjoy the atmosphere, and soak up a night built on nostalgia and great music.

We encourage everyone to dress up in their best 90s/00s looks — think double denim, cargo trousers, crop tops, butterfly clips, bucket hats, tracksuits, and pop-star energy. The more nostalgic, the better.

This is a grown-ups-only (18+) special event, open to the wider community and designed to feel very different from our usual MumSing sessions. Entry is just £5, making it an accessible night of music, nostalgia, and community.
