The play “In My Head” was written and directed by new emerging artist Kyra April (an applied theatre graduate).

The timeless and emotion-filled play follows 7 young adults growing up in Tottenham and their encounters with mental health, sexual assault and rape, addiction, identity, gang culture and other social issues young people in Tottenham face. Their stories intertwine and illustrate just how powerful our minds truly are.

The projects aims is to bring awareness to what our young people face, signpost audience members to professional help by advertising companies such as Young Minds Uk and Lives before Knives to create change.

This play is produced by Intrusive Theatre - an applied theatre company that aims to create, comfort, connect and change. With every project carefully curated - love and healing is at the heart and a passionate drive to inspire younger generations.
